What is TAPAS?
Tapas is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to support Ayurveda professionals in Texas, and bring forward the profession of Ayurveda in an effective, legal and inclusive way.
Why TAPAS - what are the origins of TAPAS?
Tapas has been its formation stage for the past two years. It just recently got granted its legal status. Our goal is to bring together Ayurvedic and Yoga leaders in the field from around the state, as a network of support for students, professionals, clients and advocates of Ayurveda and Yoga.
Is TAPAS part of NAMA or AAPNA?
No. Tapas is an independent non-profit organization in the state of Texas. We can choose to collaborate with other state and/or national organizations as desired.
Who is involved in TAPAS?
The organization will consist of a diversified group of people, including Vaidya’s, Ayurvedic Pracitioners, Counselors, Yoga Teachers, Vastu Pracitioners and the voices and activities of all participating members and holistic modalities. Currently the leadership team consists of:

Students, practitioners, organizations and community advocates of Ayurveda, Yoga, and other allied health sciences.

How much does it cost to join?
Membership dues are charged annually and vary per membership level.
